One of Srila Prabhupada's cherished desires was that the leaders of the society like business and political leaders should take up this sublime philosophy of Krishna consciousness and incorporate its timeless principles into the practical field of their work. Srila Prabhupada expressed the necessity to bring the intelligentsia to embrace Krishna consciousness so that many thousands in turn would follow their example.

“Whatever action a great man performs, common men follow. And whatever standards he sets by exemplary acts, all the world pursues.”

In line with Srila Prabhupada's desire, His Holiness Sridhar Swami wanted to develop nice presentations along with visual aids specially attuned to impact educational institutions, corporate and other leading sectors of the society.

To achieve this end, His Holiness Sridhar Swami founded VAST, the training division of ISKCON, Juhu, Mumbai in November 2002, whose members are academically trained devotees. This pioneering and innovative program uses the latest multi-media methods to professionally conduct workshops and seminars for corporates on topics like Stress Management, Power of Habits, Overcoming Anger etc. all in relation to Krishna consciousness so as to dovetail their propensities in serving the mission of Srila Prabhupada. His Holiness Sridhar Swami studied experts in various fields like Stephen Covey and applied what he learnt to spread Krishna consciousness across the globe.

VAST is led and managed by professionals and advised by spiritualists and industrialists. All our members are regular practitioners of the principles of Krishna consciousness.
